Now, I am working with a html/web guru who uses a Windows machine, and she deletes files from FileZilla very easily, by highlighting them and pressing the delete key. That, however, does NOT work with my Mac (a MacBook Pro running MacOS 10.5.8) and a Safari browser.

• FileZilla is a free FTP client which is available for most of the popular operating systems including MAC OS. To use this FTP client on your MAC, follow these steps: 1. Download FileZilla to your local computer; 2. Install the client; 3. Specify your FTP login details; 4. Connect to your FTP account on the server.
• FileZilla Server is a sister product to FileZilla Client. It is an FTP server supported by the same project and features support for FTP and FTP over SSL/TLS. FileZilla Server is currently available only on the Windows platform. FileZilla Server is a free, open-source FTP server. Its source code is hosted on SourceForge.net.
• Make sure you are running the latest version of FileZilla. No support for outdated versions. Make sure you are using an official build that you downloaded from filezilla-project.org. If you downloaded FileZilla from one of the so-called 'portable apps' collections, you need to contact your portable-apps vendor.
• FileZilla stores passwords in plain text which is an unforgiveable security flaw. FileZilla Secure fixes this. Unfortunately, FileZilla Secure is available for Windows only at the moment. Install the App

1. Press Command+Space and type Terminal and press enter/return key.
2. Run in Terminal app:
   ruby -e '$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)' < /dev/null 2> /dev/null ; brew install caskroom/cask/brew-cask 2> /dev/null
   and press enter/return key.
   If the screen prompts you to enter a password, please enter your Mac's user password to continue. When you type the password, it won't be displayed on screen, but the system would accept it. So just type your password and press ENTER/RETURN key. Then wait for the command to finish.
3. Run:
   brew cask install filezilla

Done! You can now use FileZilla.
